<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">The family of Pearl Dorothy Parsons announces with great sadness her passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 85 years. She will be sadly missed and leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: James (Nina) Parsons and Paul (Donna) Parsons, Corner Brook; cherished grandchildren: Vicki, Carla, Jenna and Tyler. She is survived by her sister Carrie Ryan, Port Saunders; brothers: Walter (Margaret) Hamlyn, Corner Brook and Fred (Clemmie) Hamlyn, Gander; sister-in-law Hazel Hamlyn, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Meshach Parsons in 1986, parents Emily and Cyrus Hamlyn, brothers George, Thomas, Richard, Robert, Calvin (Bud), Albert and Howard Hamlyn, sisters Edna, Iola and Gladys, sisters-in-law Blanche, Clara, Eileen and Josie, brother-in-law Charles Sutton. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 17 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael&rsquo;s and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Cremation to follow the service with interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael&rsquo;s and All Angels Memorial Fund.
