John Francis Barry May 21, 1950 - October 15, 2007 Corner Brook, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Barry announce his passing on Monday, October 15th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 57 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Barbara (nee Curnew); daughter: Darlene (Harold) Bellows; son: Jason (Karen); granddaughters: Pops girls, Erin and Hannah Bellows; special grandpop to Ashley MacDonald; sister: Mary Barry, Montreal; brothers: Robert (Patricia), Moose Jaw, Sask, and Kevin (Nancy), Keswick, ON; half brothers: Reg Mullett, Stephenville Crossing and Byron Mullett (Pat), Dartmouth, NS; father and mother-in-law: Con and Marie Curnew, Toronto, ON; brother-in-law: Wayne (Nancy) Curnew, Winnipeg, MB; aunt: Ruby (Charles) Webb, Corner Brook, as well as large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by parents: John and Violet Barry; brother: David and baby sister, Sylvia. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 18th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Curling. Reverend John Hounsell-Drover officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Hospital.
