<p><br /><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> It is with great sadness that the family of the late </span>Penniah &quot;Nina&quot; Smith<span style="font-family: Calibri;"> announce her passing on </span>Wednesday, February 19, 2014<span style="font-family: Calibri;">at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Betty (David) Reid, Norris Point, Lorna (Richard) Reid, Sydney, NS, Doreen &nbsp;Eveleigh, Stephenville, Trudy (Harold) Rodway, Deer Lake; sons: Rendell Smith (Cathy), St. John, NB, Wade (Lisa) Smith, Corner Brook; 16 grandchildren, 23 very dear great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and her sister Tilly Wall, St. John&rsquo;s.&nbsp; She was predeceased by her husband Laurence &quot;Larry&quot; Smith; parents Noah and Charity Sooley and son-in-law Francis Eveleigh. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, at 2:00 p.m. from the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall, Premier Drive, Robert Pitcher, Local Elder officiating. Final interment will be at the Jehovah's Witness Cemetery in Pasadena. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
