He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 41 years Vera (nee Parsons); children: Kim Lidstone, Jason Lidstone, Joseph Lidstone (Christine) and Evelyn Parsons; grandsons: Ashton and Gavin; sisters: Valda (Douglas) Wiseman and June (Gerry) Smith; sister-in-law Laura Lidstone; as well as a large circle of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alice Lidstone, sister Audrey, brothers Gilbert, Clarence and Calvin. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will he held on Wednesday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street, Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, WMRH.
