VEINOTT Herbert O. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Herbert Veinott announce his passing at the J.I. O'Connell Center in Corner Brook, on Tuesday, September 6th, 2005 in his 84th year. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his four children: Joanne Veinott, Richmond, BC, Susan Anderson (Craig), Steady Brook, Geoff Veinott (Clara), St. John's and Natalie Specker (Joe), Corner Brook; six grandchildren: Lane, Kyle, Ian, Norah, Emma and Brett; sister Shirley Bent (Harry), Nova Scotia; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, the nurses and staff at the DVA Unit. He was predeceased by wife Elsie (nee Cook), January 14, 1999. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m. from First United Church with Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
