<p> </p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Vera Margaret King   </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Corner Brook,NL                                            </span></span><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Heavens gates were opened wide as she entered with great rejoicing from Long Term Care Centre in Corner Brook on May 1</span><sup><span style="font-size: small;">st</span></sup><span style="font-size: medium;">2014 surrounded by her</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">loving family. Vera lived a long life of 95 years with her life being one of sacrificial service and servant hood to those who knew her. </span><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Leaving to mourn are her children Ruth Wellon (David) of Corner Brook, Major Bill King (Shirley) of Hamilton, Ontario, Daughters-in-law Linda King</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">& Mae King, both of Corner Brook, brother Clyde Hutchings (Joan) of Corner Brook, Blanche Batson, Labrador City, sister-in-law Nora Hutchings, St. Johns, 12 grandchildren, Lisa (Darryl), Bobby (Tanya), Susan (Rob), David, Janet (Jason), Krista (Jerry), Jessie, Michael (Barbi), Jill, Michelle (D’Arcy), Pamela (Steve) and Shane (Erin);</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">13 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Vera was predeceased by her husband Dugald, children Bob, Clyde, Jim and Sharon, parents Alfred and Isabelle Hutchings, brothers George, Garfield & Lewis, sisters Sarah, Frances and Effie. </span><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Vera is resting at Fillatre’s Funeral Home St. Marks Avenue with visitation on Saturday</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 pm & </span><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;">7-9 pm.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">  </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Funeral service will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel on Clarence Street on Monday May 5</span><sup><span style="font-size: small;">th</span></sup><span style="font-size: medium;">, at 2 PM with Majors Bill and Shirley King and supported by Major and Mrs. Raymond Janes. </span><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Expressions of sympathy donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Daffodil Place. </span><span style="font-size: medium;"> </span><span style="font-size: medium;">To sign the family guestbook or to make a memorial donation you may visit our website at </span></span><a href="http://www.fillatre.ca/"><span style="color: #0000ff; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">www.fillatre.ca</span></a></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;"> </span></p>
