<p align="justify">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Olive May Penney announce her passing on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 94<sup><span style="font-size: small;">th</span></sup> year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Roland (Joan) Penney; granddaughters: Gillian (Andy), Hilary, Megan and Alison; brothers: Jim Taylor (Edna), Cliff Taylor (Cynthia), Wallace (Brenda) Taylor, Jack (Betty) Taylor and Austin (Doreen) Taylor; sisters: Doris Parsons, June Wheeler, and Lillian Brake; sisters-in-law: Shirley Taylor and Winnifred Maynard; a very special niece Ruby Small and special friend Pearl Crocker; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Leslie Penney, father Freeman Taylor, mother Rhoda Barrett, stepfather Hedley Barrett, brothers Alton (Ella) Taylor, Lorne "Dick" (Josena) Taylor and Fred Taylor, brother-in-law Earl (Rosie) Penney and sister-in-law Lenora (Roland) Murphy. A special thank you the nurses in Restorative Care at Long Term Care, 2<sup><span style="font-size: small;">nd</span></sup> Floor, Dr. Sidkly and the nursing staff at the Palliative Care Unit. Friends may visit Bethany United Church in Summerside on Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Summerside. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One&rsquo;s Choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.</p>
