BRAKE JESSIE ELIZA DAWE November 24, 1915 - September 14, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Jessie Brake announce her passing on Wednesday, September 14th, 2005 at the Corner Brook Interfaith Home at the age of 89 years. Jessie was actively involved in the A.C.W.A (Meadows), Meadows Seniors Club and the Lion's Club. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are four daughters: Cassie March, Gillams, Minnie (Bud) Lancaster, Bellview, ON, Esther Brake, Ottawa, ON, and Delphine Brake, Calgary, AB; six sons: Hayward (Verna) Brake, McIvers, Allan (Joyce-Anne) Brake, Upper Gullies, Warren (Sylvia) Brake, Georgetown, ON, Weldon Brake, Meadows and Myles (Barbara) Brake, Meadows, Darrell (Joanne) Brake, Bradford, ON; one sister: Hilda Blanchard, Gillams; two sisters-in-law: Florence Brake, Gillams and Violet White, LeFroy, ON; one daughter-in-law: Irene Brake, Cow Head; 30 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley James Brake; daughters: Jubilee Brake and Joan Elliott; son: Samuel Brake; parents: Hayward and Minnie Brake; sister: Vivian Penney; brother: George Brake. Friends may visit Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows on Friday from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17th at 1:15 PM. Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations maybe made to the charity of ones choice.
