It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Flynn announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Thursday, September 15, 2005, at the age of 90. She leaves to mourn, daughters: Viola Humber, Sydney River, Madonna (Ronnie) Flynn, Stephenville, Millie Steinhouse, North Dakota, Lavern (Bill) Lynch, California, Theresa (Rolly) Maurier, Alberta, Mary (Dennis) Wood, Ontario, Marie (Allan) Miller, Ohio, Hilda (John) Raley, Georgia, Irene (Paul) Anderson, Stephenville, Gail (Bill) Ladouceur, Ontario, Dale (Dennis) Naylor, Nova Scotia; daughter-in-law, Marina Cormier, Kippens; 33 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Flora Cornect, Cape St. George, as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends. She is predeceased by her first husband, Ronald MacDonald; second husband, Matthew Flynn; son, Stephen MacDonald and daughter Cecilia Hall. Friends may visit Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, Port au Port West on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 19th, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Terry Boland officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital Foundation.
