Nelson Parsons Woody Point, NL May 26, 1936 … Nov 1, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of Nelson Parsons announces his sudden passing on November 1st at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are beloved wife Margaret; father-in-law Daniel Snooks; daughters Millicent Abbott (Wayne), Marilyn (Keith) Reid, Marie (Clarence) Stone, Arlene Schuhmann (Jeff); son Randy (Natalie) Parsons; grandchildren, Melanie, Mandy, Marco, Jennifer, Michael, Robin, Kimberly, Andrea, Andrew, Paula, Kaitlyn and Nicholas as well as seven great-grandchildren, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Also leaving to mourn are brothers, Fred, Roger (Rowena), Terry (Barb), sister Dorothy and sister-in-law Florence. Nelson was predeceased by nephew David; brother George; parents Fred and Mahalla and mother-in-law, Ann Snooks. Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 3rd, 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at St. Andrew’s United Church, Woody Point from where the funeral service will take place on Sunday November 4th at 2 PM with Rev. Snow officiating, Interment to follow at St. Andrew’s United Cemetary. Flowers are graciously accepted or a donation may be made to any charity of one’s choice.
