<p>Millicent</p> <p>Shiwak</p> <p>Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL</p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Millicent Shiwak announce her passing on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Long Term Care Facility at the age of 89 years. She will be sadly missed by her children: Jackie Shiwak and Sheila Shiwak (Claire Potvin); grandchildren: Valerie (Stephen), Douglas and Patrick (Debbie); great-grandchildren: Justin, Jonathan and Emma; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Shiwak, brothers Peter Michelin and Wilbert Michelin. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3 at 2:00 PM from the United Church, Happy Valley - Goose Bay with Archdecon Nellie Thomas officiating. Interment to follow at the United Cemetery.
