He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Denise (his Angel); sons: Christopher (Melissa Steines) and Gregory (Kimmy Collins); grandchildren: Jayden, Zander, Elizabeth and Shelby Lynn; step - grandson James Steines; faithful companion dog Toby parents Jack and Marie Rumboldt, Deer Lake; sisters and brothers: Regina (Don) Palmer, Ottawa, Tony (Cindy) Rumboldt, Corner Brook, Maureen Rumboldt, Deer Lake, Chris (Rhonda) Rumboldt, Corner Brook, Jenny Rumboldt, Edmonton and Jackie Rumboldt (Don Fisher), Oxford, NS; parents-in-law Carolyn and Laurence Byrne; brothers-in-law: Tony (Olivia) Byrne, Corner Brook, Greg Byrne, Cold Brook, NS and Melvin Byrne, Calgary; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Brian Rumboldt. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue on Friday, September 12 at 10:30 a.m. with The Most Reverend Bishop Peter Hundt officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.</span></p>
