Obituary of Donald Hector MacLean
Surrounded by his wife Sadie and family, Donald passed away in his home in Trout River after a short illness, on Monday, September 19th, at the age of 62 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Sadie MacLean; mother Olive Payne; son David Umbrio and his children; brothers: Jack MacLean and Allan MacLean; sisters-in-law: Harriet MacLean and Susan MacLean; step-daughter Cynthia (Derek) Dickemous; step-sons: John (Jessie) MacLean and Jason MacLean; grandchildren: Brittany and Michael; extended brothers and sisters: Elizabeth Saunders, Clarence (Neila) Payne, Dan (Raelene) Payne, Clifton Payne, Coyley Payne, Cavell Payne, Allan (Donna) Payne, Owen (Donna) Payne, Wade Payne, Angus (Joanne) Payne and Margaret (James) Blanchard, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brothers: Sandy, Jim, Rodrick and Eldon; sister Florence; sister-in-law Rosie MacLean and grandmother & grandfather MacLean. The family will receive friends at the United Church in Trout River, beginning Tuesday, September 20th from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Beverly Snow officiating, interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Trout River. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the family or to the Trout River United Church Fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake.
