GEORGE’S, NL <br /> JUNE 18, 1950 – SEPTEMBER 26, 2014 <br /> <br /> <br /> It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Orville Bennett announce his passing at his family residence in St. George’s on Friday, September 26, 2014 at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers: Bobbie (Josephine), St. George’s, Clarence, St. George’s, Pat (Mary), Halifax; sister Marilyn (Kevin) Young, St. George’s; as well as a large number of nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends. He was predeceased by his parents Robert (Robbie) and Theresa Bennett, sisters: Sis, Betty; brothers Douglas and Terry. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Sunday from 7 – 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery , Court House Road, St. George's. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the family.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.  </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">Following the service the family would like you to join them at the Royal Canadian Legion in St. George’s for a time of  fellowship and lunch.</span></p>
