<p><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stella "Dot" Ayers announce her passing on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 83 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Jean (Guy) Mercer, Linda (Gary) Stead, Douglas (Dawn) Ayers, Craig Ayers and Michelle (Paul) Keats; grandchildren: Tonya, Paul, Kimberly, Alicia, Cyle, Corrie, Dylan and Lauren; great-grandchildren: Makaila, Nick, Joshua, Taylor and Megan; sisters: Bertha Hawkins, Nancy Jackson, Florence (Abijah) Plowman and Joyce (Don) O&rsquo;Keefe; brothers: Art (Olive) Patey and Colin (Judith) Patey; sisters-in-law: Vera Ayers and Naomi Patey; brother-in-law Robert Bonnell; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick Ayers, parents Stanley and Violet Patey, parents-in-law Archibald and Laura Ayers, brothers Freeman, Theophilus and Leonard Patey. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Children&rsquo;s Wish Foundation.
