GERTRUDE AGNES MURPHY Corner Brook, NL 	 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gertrude Murphy announce her passing on Tuesday, November 6th, 2007 at the Interfaith Home for Seniors, Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving her 5 daughters: Pat (Dave) Dort, Dieppe, NB, Mary (Bill) Godwin, Ottawa, Ont., Trudy (Gilles) Dupére,, Bourget, Ont., Sheila (Brian) Welch, Peterborough, Ont. and Theresa (John) Kennedy, Pasadena; 2 sons: John (Margaret) Murphy and James (Marion) Murphy, both of Corner Brook; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchildren, 1 sister Sheila Hawco, Stephenville. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John, parents Thomas and Clara Dunne, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s on Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 9th at 10:30 AM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy no flowers by request donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation.
