MARTIN Eva Rosabelle (Rose) nee Cluett Corner Brook, NL May 3, 1915 - Sept. 28, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eva Rose Martin announce her passing at the Interfaith Home in Corner Brook, on Wednesday, September 28th, 2005 in her 90th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her two daughters: Brenda (Gerald) Piercey, Corner Brook and Norma Rideout, Campbellton, NL, and their half-brother Carl (Shirley) King and their children Donald and Lisa; her three granddaughters: Carolyn (Chad Snow), Lewisporte, Cathy (Jody Blake), Loon Bay, Christine Rideout, Campbellton, NL; one very precious great-granddaughter Emily Rose Rideout-Blake; one sister Frances Pretty, Orleans, ON; sister-in-law Myrtle Cluett; as well as a large circle nieces, nephews and cousins in Nfld. and Ontario, and many friends at the Interfaith Home. She was predeceased by husband Edward Martin in November 1956; parents Amos and Frances Cluett; sister Anne; brother Everett; son-in-law Ivan Rideout and brother-in-law Hayward Pretty. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Thursday between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Oakland United Church, Oakes/Forestside Streets on Friday, September 30th, 2005 at 2:00 p.m officiated by Rev. Lee Simpson. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Wheelchair Accessability Fund c/o Oakland United Church.
