<p>It is with great sadness and loss that the family of Maria Galliott of Eddies Cove West, announces her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Center Port Saunders on Saturday December 9, 2017 at the age of 83 years.  She leaves to mourn with loving memories daughters: Joyce Galliott of Eddies Cove West, Patricia (Roy) Swyer of Ottawa ON; sons: Warren (Justine) Galliott of Eddies Cove West, and Henry (Jen) of Halifax NS; grandchildren: Warren, Derek, Mackenzie, Jonathan, Corey, Leah; great grandchildren: Lochlainn, Ceilidh, Jacob, Joshua and sister Joanna Sheppard of Brig Bay.  She was predeceased by husband Henry Galliott.</p> <p>The family invite friends to visit at St. John the Divine Anglican Church in Port Saunders beginning on Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM.  A funeral service with The Reverend Clare Stewart officiating, will take place at the church 2:00 PM Tuesday December 12, 2017 with cremation following as per her wish and inurnment will take place in Doctor's Brook Cemetery at a later date.</p> <p>Family wishes to advise anyone who would like to send flowers please contact Lasting Impressions Corner Brook @ 709-634-4704 and someone will pick up on Monday early afternoon.  </p> <p>Family and friends may sign the guestbook or leave messages of condolence by visiting the website at www.fillatre.ca.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre Funeral homes Ltd.
