MARJORIE EDNA FIANDER Corner Brook, NL 1930 - 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marjorie Edna Fiander announce her passing on Wednesday, November 7th, 2007 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: daughter: Marilyn (Jon Martin) Royrbotn, Norway; son: Gary (Connie) Fiander, Corner Brook; three special grandchildren: Andrew Hiscock (Heather Legge), St. John’s, Devin Hiscock, St. John’s and Kenneth Scott Fiander, Corner Brook; brothers and sisters: George (Joyce) Gilbert, Ethel (Roy) Randell, Clarence (Rhoda) Gilbert, Max (Genova) Gilbert, Violet Gilbert, all of Corner Brook, John (Marie) Gilbert, River of Ponds and Ivy (Joe) Roberts, Badger, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Fiander, February 12, 2007. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Friday 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, 10-12 noon. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 10th at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street, Majors Robert and Cassie Kean officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to Western Memorial Regional Hosptial Foundation.
