She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Judy (Wayne) Martin; grandchildren: Jennifer (Jennifer), Stephen (Krista) and Robert; brothers: John (Barbara) Taylor and Don (Margie) Taylor; sister Marion (Bill) Ruth; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband John Oake, parents Maxwell and Harriett Taylor, brothers Bill, Roy and Howard Taylor, sister Lillian Fisher. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31 at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Corner Brook Long Term Care Recreational Department, 3 North or Humber United Church Memorial Fund.
