<p>It is with great sadness that the family of Roland Joseph Kean of Plum Point,&nbsp;announce his passing at The Strait of Belle Isle Health Centre on Thursday, November 20th at the age of 78 years.&nbsp; He leaves to mourn his devoted wife Valerie; daughter Patricia MacFetridge-Kean of Burin, NL; sons Sean of Brampton, On; Matthew (Janice) of Edmonton, Ab; stepsons Wilson (Wanda) Matthews of West Bay Rd, NS; Peter Matthews of West Bay Rd, NS; brothers Lloyd (Georgia) of Red Deer, Ab; Neville (Marge) of Corner Brook, NL; Grandchildren Joshua, Melanie, Matthew, Ryan, Erin, Mary,&nbsp;Keigan and Carter.&nbsp;&nbsp; He also leaves to mourn an extended family and many friends who knew and loved him.&nbsp; He is predeaced by former wife Angela, daughter Maura, parents Cecil and May Kean and sister Patricia Kean.&nbsp; The family entrusted his remains to be cremated at Fillatre's Crematorium, Pasadena and a Memorial service and Inurnment will take place at a later date to be determined by the family. Valerie and the family wish to thank all those who were so supportative during Rolands short illness and through this difficult time.</p>
