She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter Karen Gale (Kevin), Gillams; son Neil Blanchard (Jackie), Lewisporte; three precious grandchildren whom she adored, Jennifer Gale (Paul), Megan Blanchard (Mark) and David Gale; three great-grandchildren whom she viewed with amazement, Riley, Scott and Aaron Norman; special niece and nephew Cassie Marche and Weldon Brake; as well as many other nieces and nephews whom she cared for deeply; step–grandchildren Amber and Mitchell Doucette; brother-in-law Eric Compagnon; sister-in-law Florence Brake; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Noble Blanchard, parents Hayward and Minnie Brake, sisters Jessie Brake and Vivian Penney, brother George Brake, parents-in-law Joseph and Ellen Blanchard. Friends may visit St. James Anglican Church in Gillams on Monday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Malcolm Palmer and Rev. Allan Brake officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Meadows. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. James Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
