MATCHEM SOPHIA MAE OF Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre Stephenville Crossing, NL (Formerly of St. David`s, NL) 1927 - 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sophia Mae Matchem announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Saturday, October 8th, 2005 at the age of 78. She will be sadly missed by sons: Ross (Mary), McKay`s, Wayne, St. David`s, Bill (Jean), daughter Candace, Stephenville, Jackie, Milton, ON; mother Amelia Lemoine at the age of 105 years old of North Sydney, NS; sisters: Adelaide (Stan) Gracie, Sydney Mines, NS, Annie Parsons, Cambridge, ON; brother Rodney (Blanche), North Sydney, NS; five grandchildren: Robin (Judy), daughter Danielle, Marcel (Laurie), Bradley (Stephanie) all of Oshawa, ON, Chad (Heather), St. John`s, Zachary, McKay`s; great grandchildren: Brandon, Brady, Oshawa, ON, Regan, St. John`s as well a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by husband John, 1993; father George Lemoine, 1966, brother Jim Lemoine, 2000; son Rodney, 1985; daughter-in-law Brenda, 1999; grandson Shane, 1985. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church , St. David`s from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Stewart Bellows officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael and All Angels Church Memorial Fund.
