<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Charles passed peacefully surrounded by loving family after a courageous battle with Cancer, on December 6, 2014 in his residence of 8 Park Drive, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 72 years.&nbsp; A dearly loved husband, father, poppy, uncle, brother and friend, Charlie touched the lives of those whom he met with superior loyalty.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his father: Cyril, mother: Sarah (Sadie) Webster, Brother Harvey, Brothers in law: Victor Russell and Wilfred Stratton, and In-laws: Abel and Jessie Stratton.&nbsp; Leaving to mourn is his greatest love of 53 years and best friend June "Tulip"(nee) Stratton. &nbsp;He was tremendously proud of his four children: Daughter: Sonya (George) Salyzyn, son: Stephen (Cindy Wiseman), twin daughters: Dayna (Patrick) Fewer, &amp; Denise (Tyler) Francis. He continuously devoted his world to his grandchildren: Parker and Cameron Salyzyn, Jonathan, Danielle, Matthew, &amp; Alison Dewling, and Talon Pinksen &amp; Isabel Francis.&nbsp; He will be missed dearly by brother: Alonzo (Paula) Dewling and sister: Rhoda Russell, sisters-in-law: Muriel Dewling, Ruby Lee, Muriel Pearce, Marjorie (Lindy) Stratton, Huldah (Gordon) Penney and brothers-in-law: Ray (Joan) Stratton, Rodney (Jessie) Stratton, Edgar (Kitty) Stratton, David (Pat) Stratton.&nbsp; He leaves a huge circle of nieces, nephews, great cousins and special friends with wonderful memories and happy times together.&nbsp; He will also be missed greatly by his devoted friends at Bonne Bay Pond and long- time Salmon Fishing buddies Terry Madore, David Stratton, Richie Williams, by his "special rock" at Little Falls. &nbsp;Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Ave on Monday and Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2pm at the First United Church Park Street, with Reverend Clayton Parsons officiating, interment to take place at a later date.&nbsp; As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation &ndash;Chemo unit or Radiology Departments.&nbsp; Special thanks given to all those in the medical community who gave loving care, support, and friendship throughout Charlie&rsquo;s quest particularly Dr. Tim Griffin, Dr. Kate Lafferty and Dr. Jennifer Lombard. &nbsp;To sign the family guest book you may visit our website at www.fillatre.ca.</span></p>
