CREWE BENJAMIN D.V.A. Unit, J.I. O`Connell Centre, Corner Brook, NL (Formerly of Ramea, NL) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Benjamin Crewe announce his passing on Saturday, October 8th, 2005 at the D.V.A. Unit of the J.I. O`Connell Centre, Corner Brook at the age of 82 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his son: Clayton (Lucy), Bonavista; daughters: Elsie Dove (Donald), Deer Lake, Leona Hayman (Gerald), Deer Lake and Josephine Hill (Bill), Port Aux Basques; nine precious grandchildren: Colette, Leona, Colin, Lori, Kara, Sara, Kristi, Kyle and Arlene; seven great grandchildren; two sisters: Elsie Matthews, Port Aux Basques and Blanche Pink (Thomas), Ramea; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Sarah, son Gordon, parents Gordon and Agnes, and brothers William and Ward. Friends visited Fillatre`s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Monday evening and Tuesday from St. Boniface Anglican Church, Ramea, from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Renal Dialysis Unit of the Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
