<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Reginald (Rex) Braye announces his passing on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 83 years. Rex leaves to mourn his loving and devoted children: sons: Gary, Corner Brook and Robert (Sandy), Lower Sackville, NS; daughters: Lisa (Stephen Eisener), Lower Sackville, NS and Diane (Gordon) Power, Corner Brook; grandchildren: Megan (Blair Wheeler), Candace, Drew and Joshua Braye, Olivia, Gordon, Joelene Power; great grandchildren: Ethan Braye and Nadia Wheeler;</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">sisters: Phyllis Manuel, Lorraine Schure and Jean Bullock; brothers: Jack (Joyce), Edward and Robert (Melvina); sisters-in-law: Hallie Whitehorne and Gladys (Tom) Leonard; special nieces: Krista Leonard and Shelley Taylor; special cousin-in-law Linda (Pete) Glavine; special friends: </span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: medium;">Alma and Frank Guy, Larry and Paula Price and Calvin and Sandra Pretty; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Rex was predeceased by his wife</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Gae; daughter-in-law Doreen Braye; parents Leander and Bessie Braye. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The Memorial service will take place on Wednesday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street, Reverend Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke&nbsp;Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador or to the Newfoundland and Labrador Lung Association.
