ELSIE MAY HOUSE Corner Brook, NL (Formerly of Bellburns) 1909 - 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie May House announce her passing at the Interfaith Home For Seniors, Corner Brook on Tuesday, November 13th, 2007 in her 99th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Colin (Marjorie) Bennett, Corner Brook, Janet (Tom) Wortman, Dartmouth, NS, Con (Doreen) House, Corner Brook and Norma House, Massey Drive; step-children: Henry (Edith) House, Cow Head, Ron (Margaret) House, Corner Brook, Roy (Mariam) House, Bellburns, Manuel (Sylvia) House, Bellburns and Emma (Bill) Dawe, Corner Brook; 31 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister Hannah Guinchard, Norris Point; brothers: Leonard (Blanche) Biggin, Daniel’s Harbour and Con Biggin, Daniel’s Harbour, sister-in-law Ivy House, River of Ponds. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husbands James Bennett, 1935, William House, 1979, son Adrian Bennett, 2007, step-granddaughter Nancy Reid and step-grandson Todd House. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Visitation will continue at St. Aiden’s Anglican Church, Bellburns on Thursday beginning at 2:00 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, November 16th at 2:00 PM with Bishop Leonard Whitten officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
