<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Hilda Mary Pittman of Plum Point announce her sudden passing at Charles Curtis Memorial Hospital St. Anthony on Tuesday, January 6th. at the age of 70.</p> <p>She leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories, five daughters Helen (Earl), Patricia (Dennis), Alice (Glen), Elaine (Sherman) and Donna (Howard); son Rock (Marie); sister Emma Hughes; brothers Edmund (Geraldine) and Adrian (Marina); grandchildren Debrah, Bobby, Jonathan, Felicia, Wendy, Kaitlyn, Gregory, Mackenzie, Robyn, Adam and Darris; great-grandchildren Isabella and Emily; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She will be forever missed by her special friend and sister-in-law Helena Pittman and her friend Isabella Kennedy.  We express great gratitude to nurse Margie and Jackie Noseworthy in Flower's Cove and to nurses Paula, Jennifer, Kristen and Dr. Jamal of St. Anthony.</p> <p>The family will be accepting friends at the church on Thursday from 2-4 pm with a family service at 7:30.  The funeral service will take place on Friday January 9th at 1:00 pm in Bird Cove at Our Lady of Grace Church and interment at the RC Cemetery with Father Raj officiating.  Donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Church.
