Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 59 years Don; her sisters: Florence (Jack Troake) and Dorothy (Lloyd Vineham) of Twillingate; brothers-in-law: Lloyd (Georgina), Jim and Ray (Jenny); sister-in-law Eleanor; special friend Mary Corbin; and many relatives and friends. Ruth was predeceased by her cherished son David in 1988, parents Mary and Joseph Elliott, brothers Clayton and Jonas and sister-in-law Gladys Greene. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Andrew Wright officiating.
