It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vincent H. Fiander announce his passing at the Charles Legrow Health Centre on Sunday, November 18th, 2007 at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Addie of 49 years, son Glenn (Patricia), grandchildren: Allison and Eric, sisters: Hilda, Vera, Betty, Marie (Jack), brother Ralph (Marion), sisters-in-law: Kay, Winnie, Mildred, Thelma, Ruth, Peggy, Donna and Joanne, brothers-in-law: Cecil and Hubert, very special friends Freeman Reid and Llewellyn Marks. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ethel and Isaac Fiander, sisters Dorothy and Ruth, brothers George, Jack and Warren, brothers-in-law George Kendell, Charles Kendell, Pleamon Stockley, Corbin Cooper, Rhoady Hickey, Ellis Parsons, Henry Reid, Paul Shaughnessy and Tom Reid, sisters-in-law Inez Fiander, Audrey Reid and Thelma Reid, parents-in-law Clem and Annie Reid. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21st at 2:00 PM from Holy Trinity Church, Codroy with Rev. Evelyn Smith officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port aux Basques.
