WALSH THOMAS August 6th, 1923 - November 20th, 2007 Deer Lake, NL 							 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Walsh announce his passing on Tuesday, November 20th, 2007 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 84 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Helen (McKenzie), six sons: John, Deer Lake, George (Eileen), Acron, Ont., Gerald, Deer Lake, Derek, Deer Lake, Tom, Brampton, Ont. and Terry (Dale), Brampton, Ont.; six daughters: Frances (John) Roberts, Woody Point, Lorraine, Ontario, Lillian (Jerry) Chapman, Deer Lake, Gladys (Raymond) Young, St. Judes, Doris (Wayne) Rumbolt, Norris Point and Donna (Mark) McCue, Brampton, Ont.; brothers: Steve (Vera), Norris Point, Jim (Ruby), Parsons Pond and Wallace (Marie), Pasadena; sisters: Kate (Max) Roberts, Norris Point, Bessie McKenzie, St. John’s and Sadie (Ebert), Brampton, Ont. 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Isaac and Ester, brother Lorne, grandson Christopher, father and mother-in-law John and Lillian McKenzie. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 23rd at 2:00 PM from St. Michaels’ and All Angels Anglican Church with Rev. Canon John Meade officiating. Interment to follow at Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
