TOBIAS LEO COLOMBE ST. GEORGE’S, NL JULY 15, 1974 - NOVEMBER 18, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Toby Colombe announce his sudden passing in Bermuda on Sunday, November 18th, 2007 at the age of 33 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Sandra (Francis) Miles, St. Teresa, his father Kevin Sheppard, St. George’s. He will also be sadly missed by his sister: Jill Miles, Fort McMurray; brothers: Frankie Miles, St. Teresa, Simon and Reubin Sheppard, St. George’s; from the Colombe and Miles families: Aunts: Lucy, Janice, Joyce, Grace, and Nancy; Uncles: Austin, Clifford, Lorne, Wayne, and Paul; from the Sheppard family: Aunts: Eileen, Maureen, and Theresa; Uncles: Edmund, Eddie, and Harold as well as numerous cousins, other relatives, friends and co-workers. Toby was predeceased by his grandparents: Frank and Genevieve Colombe and Walter and Genevieve Sheppard. Family and friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in St. George’s on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 26th at 10:30 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the family. A Memorial Scholarship is being established to honor the tremendous contribution Toby’s life has had in the education system. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
