BLANCHE MARIE SWYERS STEPHENVILLE CROSSING, NL OCTOBER 5, 1917 - NOVEMBER 21, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blance Marie Swyers announce her passing on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville at the age of 90 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Carmy (James) Whyte, Bainbridge Island, Seattle, WA, Jody Mueller, Chicago, IL, Godfrey, Stephenville Crossing, Andrew (Joan), Oromocto, NB, Janet (John) Walsh, Stephenville Crossing, Fidelis (Madonna Ruth) Corner Brook; grandchildren: Cathy and Michael Whyte, Michael, Richard and Karolle Mueller, Andrea Swyers, Michelle, Michael, and Ian Walsh; great-grandchildren: Richard, Mark and Jason Chavez, Kathryn and Kristyn Krajewski, Richard and Jillian Mueller, and Camy Whyte as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Michael; daughter Catherine Ann and son-in-law Richard Mueller. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
