<p><span>It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Sadie Lucinda Kirby on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 97 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son Cyril (Ruth) Kirby; two grandchildren: Heather (Chuck) Rumbolt, John (Courtney) Kirby and two great-grandchildren: Lauren and Luke Rumbolt; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Clifton Kirby, parents Eli and Caroline Green, parents-in-law John and Emily Kirby, brothers Arthur (Phoebe), Jesse, James, Cyril; sisters Marion (Frank) Sharpe and Susie (Joseph) Wells; brothers-in-law Hughie (Pearl) Kirby, Garland (Clara) Kirby and sister-in-law Maude (Ralph) Wells.&nbsp; Sadie was a leader in Girl Guides, GFS, member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Canadian Red Cross Society, Anglican Church Women, Anglican Church Choir as well as a Sunday School Teacher.&nbsp; Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Tuesday, March 24 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Farm Road. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Canadian Red Cross or St. Michael&rsquo;s and All Angels Anglican Church, Deer Lake.&nbsp;</span></p>
