<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of Annie Vardy announce her sudden passing on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Centre at the age of 78 years. Left to mourn with many wonderful memories, her husband of 57 years John; children: Sharon (Jim) Sharpe, Darrell (Regina) and Sheila (Ian Bell); her treasured grandsons: Adam and Darren Sharpe and Brian Bell; brothers and sisters: Ray (Geneva), Elaine Mercer, Joyce, Graham, Kathy (Dinzel) Baggs, Barry (Carmel) and Barbara (Ron) Burry; brothers and sisters-in-law: Wilfred Savory, Juanita Reid, Carol Reid, Florence )AJ) Sherrill, Ron (Shirley) Vardy, Bob (Sol) Vardy, Lester Pittman and J.J. Harrison; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Ruth Reid; father and mother-in-law Heman and Marion Vardy; sister Bessie Savory; brothers Harry and Roy; sisters-in-law Lorraine Pittman and Karen Harrison; brothers-in-law Doug Mercer and Wilson Vardy. Special thank you to all staff 2 South Corner Brook Long Term Care for their wonderful care. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation on Tuesday, April 7 from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue with Rev. Andrew Wright officiating. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice graciously accepted. The family guest book may be signed by visiting www.fillatre.ca. </span></span></p>
