Left to mourn with many wonderful memories, her husband of 57 years John; children: Sharon (Jim) Sharpe, Darrell (Regina) and Sheila (Ian Bell); her treasured grandsons: Adam and Darren Sharpe and Brian Bell; brothers and sisters: Ray (Geneva), Elaine Mercer, Joyce, Graham, Kathy (Dinzel) Baggs, Barry (Carmel) and Barbara (Ron) Burry; brothers and sisters-in-law: Wilfred Savory, Juanita Reid, Carol Reid, Florence )AJ) Sherrill, Ron (Shirley) Vardy, Bob (Sol) Vardy, Lester Pittman and J.J. Harrison; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Ruth Reid; father and mother-in-law Heman and Marion Vardy; sister Bessie Savory; brothers Harry and Roy; sisters-in-law Lorraine Pittman and Karen Harrison; brothers-in-law Doug Mercer and Wilson Vardy. Special thank you to all staff 2 South Corner Brook Long Term Care for their wonderful care. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation on Tuesday, April 7 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Rev. Andrew Wright officiating.
