Lloyd George LeGrow Corner Brook, NL 1918 - 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lloyd LeGrow announce his sudden passing at his residence on Sunday, November 25th, 2007 in his 89th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Mildred (Ronald) Piercey, Oakville, ON, Albert (Leone) LeGrow, Dartmouth, NS, Lloyd (Cathy) LeGrow, Winsor, NS, Josephine (Dave) Duder, Cambridge, ON, Donalda (Kenneth) Tipple, Corner Brook, Stephen (Josie) LeGrow, Ottawa, ON and Lorne LeGrow, St. John’s; 16 grandchildren: Roy, Dougie, Ronnie, Darrin, Kim, Shelley, David, Dean, Lori, Jaqueline, Jennifer, Bruce, Michael, Jill, Christina and Stephen; 16 great grandchildren; brother: Reverend A.B. LeGrow (Mildred), Toronto, ON; sisters-in-law: Susie Genge, Flower’s Cove, Donalda McDonald, Maple Ridge, BC, Flora Murdock, Orlando, Florida and Beatrice LeGrow, St. John's; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife Virtue (nee Rose), July 19, 1991 and his daughter Marilyn, November 25, 1995; brothers: Jack, Wallace and Steve LeGrow; sisters: Dorcas and Nellie. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 28th at 2:00 p.m. from the First United Church, Park Street. Rev. Dr. Wayne Cole officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
