<p><span style="font-family: times new roman,times; font-size: 16pt;"><span lang="EN">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert Shears announce his passing on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 86 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Cindy (Paul), Linda (Kerry), Tina (Harry), Rick (Linda), Chuck (Libby), Penny (Brian); grandchildren: Paul, Christopher, Michael, Danielle, Kevin, William; great-grandchildren: Sophie, Kaylee, Jaimee, Jayden; 12 brothers and sisters as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was predeceased by his wife June, parents Arthur & Georgina Shears and 2 brothers. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2015 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinson’s, NL from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Nick Griffith officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Robinson’s, NL. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.</span></span></p>
