It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Rumbolt announce his passing on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 72. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife: Goldie (nee Foss); daughter: Lisa (Darrell), Alberta; son: Lou, Corner Brook; granddaughter: Katie; sister: Tess (Lance), British Columbia; special friends: Dr. Doug Simms and his wife Melva, Pat and Robert Kenny, Gladys and Gordon Clare, all of Corner Brook, as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Dallas, and parents Louis and Eileen Rumbolt. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday and Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:30 A.M. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mt. Bernard Avenue. Fr. Edwin Gale officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
