<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Wheeler (nee Ruth)</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Elsie Lillian</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">March 31, 1927 – April 30, 2015</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elsie Wheeler announce her peaceful passing on Thursday April 30, 2015 at the Long Term Care Home in Corner Brook at the age of 88 years.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her Son: Fred (Geraldine) of Summerside, daughters; Marcella (Joe) Ryan of Codroy Valley, and Geraldine Wheeler of Ontario, daughter in law Linda Wheeler Hughes Brook, grandchildren: Henry, Sherry, Carrie, Angela, Michael, Danny, Beverly, Shawn, Melvin, Jason, Shawn, Tina, Belinda, Terri Lynn, Tracy, Tiffany, Colin, and Howie;  30 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, sisters in law: Ona and Violet Wheeler, special friend and caregiver Susie McLean, and a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband Percy in 1997, sons: Jim in 1998, Terry in 2007, infant son: Eric, infant daughter: Ivy, grandsons: Scott Ryan in 1985, and Greg Wheeler in 2001, parents: Fred and Evelyn Ruth, sisters: Ivy, Marjorie, Mildred, Gertie, Georgie, and Eileen (Joseph) Wells, brothers: Harold, Fred, and Ches. The family wishes to acknowledge Dr. Westby and the staff of Long Term Care for their Compassionate and tender care. Visitation will take place from St. Paul’s Anglican Church Summerside on Saturday 7-9 PM, and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where funeral service will take place on Monday at 2:00 PM ,Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating, with interment to follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery Summerside.  As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Thread of Life at threadsoflife.ca or to MS Society at </span><a href="http://www.mswalks.ca/"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">www.mswalks.ca</span></a><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> Team  Mel Bears.
