<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thelma McCarthy announce her passing on Sunday May 10, 2015 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook , NL at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: George Pye, sisters: Claudine Barnes, Rose (Tom) Vincent, brothers: Irving (Betty) Pye, Clayton (Gladys) Pye, Eric (Joan) Pye and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and very special niece Darlene Barnes Jones.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">She was predeceased by her husband Bernard, parents:</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">George (Ida) Pye, sister Helen Marie Doman,</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">and brother- in- law: Gerald Barnes.</span><span style="font-size: medium;">&nbsp; </span><span style="font-size: medium;">Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday May 11</span><sup><span style="font-size: small;">th</span></sup><span style="font-size: medium;">, from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 12</span><sup><span style="font-size: small;">th</span></sup><span style="font-size: medium;">, at 10:30 AM from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Chapel St. Marks Avenue with Father Ambrose Hynes officiating, interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
