Obituary of Ruth Samways
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruth Samways announce her passing on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 62. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her brother James Samways (June), Springdale, nieces: Kim Heath (Wallace), Springdale, Karen Israel (Parker), Edmonton, Judy Samways (Harris Powell), Grand Falls; grand nieces and nephews; Marc Heath, Ryan Heath, Samantha Israel, Jamie Powell, and a large number of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents James and Myrtle Samways.
The funeral service will be held Friday, February 13 at 3:30 p.m. from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cathedral, Main Street the Very Reverend Lorne Gosse officiating, cremation to follow. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St Marks Avenue Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. . As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
