Obituary of Brenda Mayo

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Brenda Mayo announce her passing on Monday, September 20th, 2004 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 39 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Rory, daughter Jennifer, her dog Snowball, Goose Bay, stepdaughters, Stacy Mayo, St. John's and Candice Mayo, Pasadena; mother and father Julie and Nathaniel Coates, sister Barbara Ball, brothers Amos (Ida) and Terry (Jackie) Coates all of Deer Lake, brothers and sisters-in-law, Travis Mayo, Ontario, Anne (Mike) Hanrahan, Alberta, Donna (Cyril) Hodder, Claudette (Patrick) Bonnell both of Marystown, Geraldine Mayo, Ontario, Dane (Wayne) Mayo, St. John's, Kimberly (Murray) Diamond, Alberta, Troy (Kim) Mayo, Marystown and Samuel (Debra) Mayo, St. John's, special friends, Kathrien Bohot, Celeste Thompson and Betty Menne all of Goose Bay, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents-in-law David and Rebecca Mayo and brother-in-law, David Ball. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake Tuesday and Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church, Deer Lake with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Wight's Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson Society.
