<div>              </div> <div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div> <p>July18, 1937 - July 20, 2015</p> <p> </p> <p>Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Labrador Health Centre, Gerald Thomas Russell, age 78 years. Predeceased by his father, Lenoard, and his mother Elsie, brothers, Lenoard, Simon, Ronald, Arthur, and sister Frances. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife and best friend of 57 years, Mabel (nee Tippett); his loving sons; Billy (Holly), Jerry (Gwen), Keith (Melissa), his loving daughter Elsie (Chad). His beloved grandchildren whom he adored: Patrick (Cheryl), Scosha - Gerri, Samantha (Wayne), Shandi (Derek). Great grandchildren; Leah, Alex, Ayla, Anna, Angela, David, Ocean, Kayla, and Craig. His siblings: Paul (Daphne), Aubrey (Pauline), Eliza (Phil), Ella and her late husband Roland, Ross (Shirley), John (Judy); as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.</p> <p>Many thanks to the fabulous staff of the Labrador Health Center especially all the nurses on the dialysis unit. Also many thanks to Rev. Nellie Thomas for her prayers and lovely chats - you were a blessing. Visitation will be held at Fillatres Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, on Wednesday, July 22, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.</p> <p>Burial service will be held from St. Andrew’s Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay, on Thursday, July 23, at 2:00 pm, Archdeacon Nellie Thomas officiating.
