Some loving memories of my Petie:

Petie was a Jack of all trades. He worked as a laborer for 37 years but, he also did various jobs such as: welder, heavy equipment operator, carpenter, electrical, mechanic, but his favorite hobby was working out in his shed building komatics. His friends would frequently drop by and visit him out in the shed. Petie was known by all to be a very easy going, humorous man. He loved having boil ups and cooking up his wild meat and duff in his bake pot at least once a week, so much that his friends nicknamed him Bake Pot Pete. Every year as soon as the first snow fell, he would stack up wood for the winter. He said the shed had to be kept warm for repairs on the boys (twin step grandsons) snowmobiles, because he knew that they would frequently drop by with complications that only Pop Pete could fix.

Petie would almost everyday say, no need to cook supper Ma, I'll be busy out in the shed and I'll get something later, but faithfully the phone would ring at 4pm with him on the other end saying, what's for chow Ma?

There are no words to say what a wonderful, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend that my Petie was! He was one of a kind and irreplaceable.

I will forever love and miss you,

Your loving wife,

Sadie (Ma)
