TAYLOR CHESLEY WILLOUGHBY WOODY POINT, BONNE BAY, NL December 25, 1912 - November 11, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Chesley Taylor announce his passing on Friday, November 11th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 70 years, Linda (nee Tuff), Woody Point; daughters: Rowena Wight (Tate), Shoal Brook, Bonne Bay, Ruby Locke (Gene), Corner Brook and Isabel Simms, Corner Brook; son: Kevin Taylor (Jane), Rocky Harbour; eight grandchildren: Marilyn Wight, Lexie Specker (Jeff), Tate Wight Jr. (Alish), Peter Wight (Jeannie), Vikki Bennett (Paul), Linda Chadderton (Anthony), Glen Simms (SherraLee)and David Taylor; 12 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Ivy Butt, as well as a circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by sisters: Gertie, Diadam and Violet; brothers: Norman and Samson; and son-in-law Walter Simms. Friends visited St. Andrews United Church, Woody Point on Sunday from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14th at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. Tony Newell officiating. Interment to follow at the Church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Andrews United Church, Woody Point.
