<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span>It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts, that the family of the late Harold Richard White announce his passing on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at the age of 80 years. &nbsp;He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons: Harold (Dale), Robert (Ruth), Michael (Deanna), and Wayne; daughter: Joanne (Steve).&nbsp; His treasured grandchildren: Robyn, Geoffrey, Alyssa, Evan, Cameron and Curtis; brothers: Ronald (Betty) and Jerome; sister Marjorie White; brothers-in-law: Martin Pilgrim (Irene) and Tom Pilgrim (Pat) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.&nbsp; He was predeceased by his wife Loretta (Sis) White, parents Thomas and Mary White, brother Patrick White. </span><span>Dad was a proud citizen of Deer Lake being involved in many local committees and his church, was a permanent fixture at the Deer Lake arena coaching minor hockey for many years and was very active in and around the Deer Lake airport for some 45 years.&nbsp; He was relentless in the fight to maintain and support his community. <span>Cremation has taken place.&nbsp; Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation for Harold at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake Sunday, August 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.&nbsp; A funeral mass to celebrate his life will take place Monday, August 10 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, Deer Lake followed by interment in the R.C. Cemetery, Wight's Road. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.&nbsp; Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Deer Lake.&nbsp; The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through the website&nbsp;<a href="http://www.fillatre.ca/"><span style="color: #0000ff;">www.fillatre.ca</span></a>.</span></span></span></p>
