<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Myrtle Cardwell announce her passing on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her brother and sisters: Clayton Brake, Walter Brake, Barbara Pella, John Brake, James Brake, Gerald Brake, Linda Bouder (Adam) and Edward Brake (Joy); daughter-in-law Lorraine Cardwell; grandchildren: Robert Leggo, Gerald Cardwell (Grace) and Heather Fulton (Rob); 5 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Bob Berkshire; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Gladys and Dawson Brake, daughter Barbara Leggo, son Gerald Cardwell Sr., sisters Yvonne Pasut (Mario) and Dollena Berkshire and brother Frederick Brake. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Canon Roberta Woodman officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of one&rsquo;s choice.
