<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Derek "Dick" Joseph Hatcher announce his sudden passing on Friday, December 4, 2015 at his residence at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Doreen (nee Earle); son Craig Hatcher (Deana); daughter Dana Goodfellow (John); stepchildren: Kim McCarthy (Tony) and Bruce Green (Sandy); sister Marjorie Kennedy (Stu); brother David Hatcher (Rose); stepbrothers: Harold Lewis (Janet) and Ed Lewis (Louise); stepsister-in-law Sandy Lewis (Jim &ndash; deceased); brothers and sisters-in-law: Phyllis Coleman (Fred), Shirley Green, Mary Quilty (Alban), Monty Earle (Eilene), Brian Earle (Pat), Sharon Kirkland (Wayne) and Sandra Decker; mother-in-law Gertrude Earle; grandchildren: Claire and Aaron Hatcher, Reid and Harris Goodfellow, Danika and Sarah McCarthy, Devin and Dawson Green; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his infant daughter Donna Hatcher, parents Wallace and Harriett (nee Easton) Hatcher, stepmother Alice (nee Lewis) Hatcher, brothers Wallace and Donald Hatcher, stepbrother Jim Lewis, brothers-in-law Bob Kennedy, Bruce Earle and Randy Earle, father-in-law Clyde Earle. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Oakland United Church with Rev. Wendy Lowden officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Corner Brook Minor Hockey Association or any Children&rsquo;s Charity of your choice.
