The family of Una Doody announce her passing at the Palliative Care Unit, Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Friday, December 21, 2007 in the presence of her family at the age of 76 years. She will be sadly missed by loving and devoted children:Annette, with whom she resided, Shawn (Dawn), Dave (Maureen), Derek (Elizabeth), Karen (Dave), Brian (Rosemarie); treasured grandchildren Heather +, Karen, Jimmy, Matthew, Jennifer, Stephanie, Philip, Scott, Mark, Ryan, Sarah, Rebecca, Timothy, Julie & Jessica; sisters Valda (Floyd Allen), Carol Hillier, Shirley (Kent Manuel), Sandra Beaton (Ray), Ruby (Stephan); brothers Dave (Shirley), Fred (Mary), Don. Sisters-in-law Etta Conway, Agnes (Mike Corcoran), Doris (Ken Johnson), Shirley Doody. Brothers-in-law Msgr. James Doody, John (Yvonne) & Jeff Flynn & Sid Shears, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Predeceased by son Terry, husband Bernard, parents Rendell & Jessie Noseworthy, sisters Rhoda & Joan. The Funeral Liturgy will be Sunday, December 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from All Hallows Church, Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating, followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Cancer Centre, Western Region, WMRH, 4th floor Corner Brook.
