Passed away peacefully at the Interfaith Home For Seniors on Saturday, December 22nd, 2007, Ethel Emma Blackler Pike (nee Williams) in her 80th year. Leaving to mourn her 4 children: Fred (Maxine) Blackler, Louise (Charlie) Smith, Judy (Bill) Caravan and George (Shelley) Blackler, 7 grandchildren: Lisa, Sherry, Crystal, Carson, Kim, Matthew and Edward, 1 step-granddaughter Sarah, 6 great-grandchildren: Tara, Daniel, Marlie, Riley, Liam and Ethan, sisters: Olive Hunt, Marjorie (Everett) Barriault, Verna (Lloyd) Buckle and Elizabeth (Phonse) Keough, brothers: Fred (Winnie) Williams, Dave (Phyllis) Williams and Ray (Linda) Williams, brother-in-law Rex Park, special friends Vivian and Vera Brake. As well as a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband Edward Blackler and her second husband Edward Pike, parents Frederick and Gladys Williams brother Albert Williams and sister Julia Park. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday from the hours of 7-9 PM and on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, December 24th at 10:00 AM from the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Paul Casey officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
